Raised by Wolves? Stories of Feral Kids You Won’t Believe Exist
Zanziman Ellie

In the heart of Rwanda, a unique story unfolded with the birth of Zanziman Ellie in 1999. Upon birth, he was immediately recognized as special by his mother, especially after the heartbreak of losing five infants. His distinctiveness was evident, his head remarkably small, but his mother saw him as a miraculous answer to her prayers.
Despite being nurtured with care, Ellie grew up embracing the wild, displaying traits more akin to an ape than a human child. He shunned spoken language and preferred bananas and vegetation. His escapades often lead his mother on desperate searches to bring him back, using a lasso to ensure he doesn’t lose his way.
