George Clooney gained fame for his old man charm, as first exhibited in his breakthrough role as Dr. Doug Ross in “ER.” In 1986, when he turned 25, he was still a struggling actor taking any part that came his way. These included episodic roles in shows like “Hotel” and “Throb.”
He also had a recurring role in the show “The Facts of Life” and would later have a similar role in the series “Roseanne.” After breaking through in “ER,” he never looked back and even made a Batman film. In 2021 he appeared on a podcast series called “WTF with Marc Maron.”
