By the time she was 25, Kate Winslett had already been working for ten years. She got her start at the age of 15 in the British show “Dark Season” and quickly moved on to more film roles like “Heavenly Creatures” and a BAFTA-winning performance in “Sense and Sensibility.”
Not to say she was quiet during her 25th year on this earth. She starred in a film called “Quills” and also won a Grammy award for her spoken word album “Listen to the Storyteller.” She won an Emmy Award for the performance in the 2021 limited Netflix series “Mare of Easttown.”
