Raised by Wolves? Stories of Feral Kids You Won’t Believe Exist

Marco Rodríguez Pantoja

Marco Rodríguez Pantoja’s journey from solitude to society is both heartrending and inspiring. Orphaned at a tender age when his mother died during childbirth, he faced abuse from his stepmother before being sold into servitude with a goat herder at seven. The goat herder eventually passed away, leading him to find companionship among a pack of wolves in the wilderness.

He learned the language of the wolves, communicating through howls and grunts, until his rescue by the Civil Guard in 1965. Transitioning back to human society, nuns taught him how to walk upright, use utensils, and dress himself. Marco adapted remarkably and served in the military.
