Ellen Degeneres is in hot waters as her television show is hit by one controversy after another over serious allegations relating to racism, toxic workplace culture, bullying, and more. A few months ago, a shocking Twitter thread opened a can of worms about the famous talk show host's not-so-kind behavior once the cameras stopped rolling.
Ellen, who's famous for her mantra "Be Kind" came under fire for being mean to her employees and other celebrities who have appeared on her show. Over the course of the last few months, more and more of her staff members have come forward with allegations against Ellen and the producers of the show. The disgraced talk show host is even considering quitting to save face, leaving fans wondering who will replace her.
One newspaper claims that the producers are currently in talks with James Corden, who could be a potential replacement for Ellen, should she retire from her namesake show. But producers might be forced to reconsider after Twitter came for Corden, claiming that the "Late Late Show" is no better than Ellen.

The Ellen Degeneres Show, owned by WarnerMedia, is facing a serious internal investigation after too many ex-employees and current staff members spoke up about the toxic management and workplace culture.
Since then, the show's executives have released statements to apologize for their negligence, and vowing to take action against the perpetrators. However, Ellen herself has been awfully quiet about the issue, leading many to believe that she might not be sorry for her behavior after all. But the backlash is not going to stop the cameras from rolling. In response to a fan, the show's executive producer, Andy Lassner, said that 'nobody is going off-air.'
As Twitter caught on to the news of James Coden's succession, users were quick to call out the British host for his unkind behavior in the past. Sources have claimed that producers were eyeing Corden even before any of the allegations came to surface, potentially because of Ellen's looming retirement.
Louis Peitzman even quoted the Page Six story with a sarcastic caption calling Corden 'famously kind' to allude to his past scandals, which prompted other users to share their stories and experiences with the British host.
So much more to him that Americans don't know.

"I would never ever want to pay a writer less than they deserve. Never," Corden wrote. "I love every writer on my show and all I ever wanted from that meeting was to explore whether talented people could get a better opportunity."
Allison replied to the late-night host: "James, you showed up to a guild meeting, as an employer, flanked by your executive producer, to advocate for the show's interest to pay writers less. if you want to give talented young writers a shot, you can pay them the Guild minimum that was negotiated in the MBA."
A Reddit AMA that Corden did last year is also resurfacing
In the replies to Peitzman's tweet, several people referenced an AMA that Corden did in 2019 (along with several producers on his show) that featured users sharing stories of what they said was past problematic behavior.
Top comments on the AMA featured a story from a user claiming to notice Corden being rude to waitstaff in a London restaurant as well as mentions of an anecdote involving Corden ignoring his wife on a plane.
