Daniel Sturridge – £1.2 Million, Los Angeles
Daniel Sturridge’s contract with the Turkish team Trabzonspor ended in March 2020. He had breached betting rules which saw him also slapped with a four-month worldwide ban, and the appeal board fined him £150K. The past three years, clearly, haven’t been that great for Sturridge, and in 2019 he also had his house burglarized and his dog stolen.
He took to social media for help to bring his pet back home after intruders burglarized his Los Angeles abode. The Pomeranian called Lucky Lucci cost him a reported £4K. He offered a £30K reward for her return, and two days after the incident, they were reunited.
