Dennis Bergkamp lives in Blaricum, Netherlands, in this picturesque home. However, Ajax isn’t known for extravagances like other football stars, and in fact, he doesn’t fly due to his aviophobia. It even earned him the nickname “Non-Flying Dutchman.”
Sources saying that his fear stems from the plane crash incident involving the Netherlands national team following the 1994 World Cup. Bergkamp formely served as an Ajax F.C. assistant manager. In February 2021, his son Michael joined the Watsford F.C. U23s. Roland Bergkamp, his nephew, is currently signed up with the Dutch club RKC Waalwijk.
