Ray Parlour – £1.5 Million, Essex
When times were good between Ray Parlour and his former wife Karen, they shared an Essex mansion with their three kids. Karen got the six-bedroom spread as part of their divorce settlement, as well as a chalet in Norfolk. Their separation was a high profile one, particularly when it came to dividing their existing wealth.
The settlement also saw Parlour receive a pay increment to meet the upkeep costs for Karen and their two children. Parlous still holds his record for making 333 Premier League appearances under Arsenal as of 2020, and no other player has surpassed it yet in the club’s history.
