Gary Lineker might have been basking in the glory of the ’86 World Cup victories, but what he didn’t like all too much were the glaring flashes of cameras on him. That’s why he went for a quieter neighborhood when he wanted to move. Barnes did the trick, and with greenery surrounding his red brick house, accords him the privacy he needs.
Lineker has everything he could need at home, including a fully-equipped exercise room. Only that he split up with his second wife, Danielle Bux, in 2016 after six years of marriage. Since 2020, Lineker serves as a visiting fellow of the University of Oxford’s Lady Margaret Hall.
