Michael Carrick – £4 Million, Prestbury
Neighbors Mark Hughes and Michael Carrick got into a tiff when Carrick set out to expand his Prestbury abode. Carrick received the go-ahead to flatten the house, and in its place, he built his dream mansion for £4 million. Hughes wasn’t having it, and he decided it was best to pack up and sell the home for £6 million.
Carrick built a seven-bedroom house on the lot rising three stories up. The original dwelling had only two stories, and that was amongst the issues Hughes had with Carrick’s expansion plans. The mansion also comes with a fitness room, an indoor pool, a wine cellar, and a library.
