A Branch Too Far
Perched high above the ground, a man embodies the age-old adage of “cutting off the branch you’re sitting on.” Armed with a saw, he diligently works the wood between him and the sturdy trunk, oblivious to the gravity of his situation—literally. This high-altitude adventure is set to end with a crash course in Newton’s laws.
Should gravity assert its inevitability, the local fire department or emergency medical services would be the go-to for this ill-advised lumberjack. While his determination is admirable, his strategy leaves much to be desired. A reminder to all: when trimming trees, positioning is key, unless you’re auditioning for the role of human catapult.
