Television host and producer, Michel Drucker is currently recognized for his France 2 show, Vivement Dimanche. He began his career at ORTF after his military service and joined Maison de la Radio in 1974 as a sports commentator before branching out into entertainment and current affairs. He, among other things, launched the career of the imitator and humorist Laurent Gerra via his show Studio Gabriel from 1994 to 1997. He was notably decorated Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in 1984, then knight and finally officer of the Legion of Honor in 1994 and 2004. What a great journey for a nice little fortune which amounts to 11 million euros with regard only to his professional income.
