Isabelle Adjani – 67 years old
Adjani was praised for her portrayal of Agnès, the lead female role in “L’École des Femmes de Molière,” and Jean Giraudoux’s “Ondine.” She quickly left the theater to concentrate on her film career and starred in the film La “Gifle” in 1974. François Truffaut immediately cast her in The “History of Adèle H.” in 1975, which became his first major role. Truffaut said of Adjani: “France is too small for her. I think Isabelle is made for American cinema.” American critic Pauline Kael described her acting skills as “prodigious”. Adjani is 65 years old today, but she still has so much energy to continue her acting career.
