Kris McQuade – New South Wales – Born In 1952
Kris McQuade has had a long career in Australian television and film. She started acting at the age of 17 in a number of independent productions before finally rising to popularity when she appeared in the daytime series ‘Skyways.’ Her performance in the teen drama ‘Fighting Back’ earned her the Best Supporting Actress nod from the AACTA Awards.
Kris still garners plum roles in various productions. In 2020, she played a senior detective in three episodes of ‘The Gloaming,’ then appeared as a cargo plane pilot in the 2021 film ‘Mortal Kombat.’ Her performance as Barbara McCallum in ‘Rosehaven’ has endeared her to fans of the show as well.
