Unforgettable Aussie Celebrities From The Golden Days And What They Have Been Up To Lately

Kevin Bartlett – Victoria – Born In 1947

Kevin Bartlett had a stellar career as an Australian rules footballer, winning five Jack Dyer Medals and becoming the very first player in the ‘Victorian Football League’ to play in 400 games. Fans often called him “Hungry” because he was always raring to kick goals and somehow was not very fond of handpassing.

After his playing years, Kevin went on to become a popular sports commentator on TV and radio. He joined ‘World of Sport’ on Melbourne’s ‘Channel 7’, and he also had a stint as a writer for the ‘Sun News Pictorial’. Since 2019, Kevin has been a part of the ‘3AW’ broadcast team for Sundays.
