Judy Davis has been acting on stage, television, and film for over four decades. The actress first appeared in the comedy movie ‘High Rolling’ in 1977, but it was her role as Sybylla Melvyn in ‘My Brilliant Career’ that catapulted Judy to fame and earned her BAFTA nods for Best Newcomer and Best Actress.
These days, Judy resides in Birchgrove, New South Wales, with her husband Colin Friels, to whom she has been married since 1984. She is still active in acting roles, such as her Emmy-nominated appearance in Ryan Murphy’s 2017 series ‘Feud.’ To critical acclaim, Judy also joined the ‘Netflix’ drama ‘Ratched’ in 2019, along with fellow A-listers Cynthia Nixon and Sharon Stone.
