Anna Friel rose to worldwide fame through her portrayal of Beth Jordache in the soap opera Brookside. In fact, she is still remembered for this character by adoring fans, despite having worked on various other outstanding projects.
A slightly younger generation would recognize her from Pushing Daisies, a fantasy show on ABC, in which the actress played the role of Charlotte Charles. Friel’s tenure there was as short as two years, but a highly influential one at that!
