Peter Dean: 81, EastEnders
Peter Dean’s acting career began in the late seventies, and he has since starred in many television shows, including the ever-popular Coronation Street. However, Dean’s role in EastEnders as Pete Beale would give him a significant leg up in the entertainment industry. For over eight years, Dean was a series regular until calling it quits in 1993, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ with the showrunners.
Luckily for Dean, it didn’t put a dent on his resume as he still got a couple of projects, including one with Law and Order. Now 81, the actor has slowed things down but still makes an occasional guest appearance on TV. Good for him!
