Widely considered among the most popular characters on the Coronation Street soap opera, Julie Goodyear played the role of Bet Lynch, through which she received global fame. The actress made her debut on the show in 1966 before taking a break and returning in 1970, where she stayed for twenty-five years.
Julie had other short stints on the serial before making her final emotional appearance in 2010. Since then, the veteran actress has starred in several reality television shows and stage plays, proving that her creative fire is still burning.
