Lacey Turner: 32, EastEnders
In what is a classic case of manifesting your dream, Lacey Turner used to see the crew filming EastEnders having been raised near the BBC television studios in Elstree, and she badly wanted to be part of the action. The actress subsequently joined the school and took up dancing and acting, and the rest is history.
After starring in several adverts, Lacey auditioned for a role on EastEnders and landed the Stacey Slater character she has played since 2004. The actress is still actively involved in the show while also appearing in other projects like the Our Girl series.
