Gwyneth Powell: 74, Grange Hill
From 1980 to 19991, Gwyneth Powell played Mrs. Clusky on Grange Hill. It wasn’t her first time in front of a camera; on the contrary, Powell’s first serious role was in a season of The Guardians back in 1971! Granger Hill was, however, the show that made her famous.
Today, she’s left Mrs. Clusky behind her and last appeared in an episode of Doctors in 2019. She’s in her mid-70s and has been happily married to Alan Leith for a while now. They live together on Hurstpierpoint, where she frequently appears as a guest reader on the Hurstpierpoint Players acting group.
