Alison Bettles: 51, Grange Hill
Anyone who has lived through the ‘80s probably remembers Alison Bettles’ face. After all, she played on Grange Hill for half a decade as Fay Lucas. Bettles was born in 1969 and got a life-changing role at the age of 13. She eventually decided that she wanted to withdraw herself from the limelight.
She reportedly became a licensed beauty therapist before she created her own company, called Kenvale Recruitment. The last time she acted was on an episode of London’s Burning back in 2001. In 2021, however, we got to see her on an episode of This Morning.
