Congenital Melanocytic Nevus Causing Spots
Being born with a specific genetic disorder is not unusual, as we have seen in numerous cases. One rare disorder that one can be born with is congenital melanocytic nevus, which is characterized by intensely colored spots on the skin, colors ranging from black to brown and tan.
The spots caused by the mutation are usually coarse and sometimes exhibit the growth of excessive hair, such as the one on this baby’s forehead. We wonder if she was born with the spots or if they appeared a few weeks after birth, but she looks adorable with the cute spots nonetheless.
