Gianni Versace – $41.5 Million, Miami
This is the place Gianni Versace called home for the last years he was alive, and the place in front of which he was lethally shot, in 1997. With such rich history, we can only imagine that it’s quite expensive. It turns out that it was bought in 2013 by VM South Beach LLC for $41.5 million! Versace himself had purchased it in 1992 for $2.95 million. He renovated it, making it into an eight-bedroom, ten-bathroom, and three-floor villa. It’s currently operating as a luxury boutique hotel with ten suites. The building itself was built on a Mediterranean revival style, back in 1930.
