When he was 14 years old, Lee MacDonald portrayed the character of Zammo McGuire on Grange Hill. By the time he departed from the show, he was an adult! In fairness, it wasn’t his first gig, given that he started acting in the late ‘70s. MacDonald made his TV debut on the Television Club in 1978.
Nowadays, he’s in his 50s. Besides continuing his acting career, he’s also been working as a locksmith on Wallington for the Mentor Lock & Safe CO. His latest acting gig was Harvest of the Dead: Halloween Night in 2020. A year later, he was on an episode of This Morning.
