Before he got the career-defining role of Arthur on East Enders, Bill Treacher already had an impressive repertoire of acting credits under his belt. He was born in London back in 1930 and started acting on TV in the ‘60s. He even got to play on shows like Brian Six Presents and movies like Pop Pirates.
He was one of the show’s original cast members and stayed on it for 11 good years, accumulating over 1,000 episodes in total. No wonder he’s still remembered as Arthur! He’s 90 years old now and has been married to Katherine Kessey since 1971. They’ve also have two children together.
