Who could ever forget about Shobna Gulati? She portrayed Sunita Alaham on Coronation Street for over a decade, finally departing in 2013. She was in her 30s when she first got the role, and she couldn’t have imagined the impact it’d make on her life!
Before that, she appeared in some episodes of the EastEnders and Dinnerladies, but nothing matched the success she found as Sunita. Her days on Coronation Street may be behind her, but her career is still going strong. In 2021 she took part in the Celebrity Best Home Cook competition and in the film called Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
