These DIY Mishaps Leave Us Wondering, D-I-Why?!

Butter Fingers and Broken Stovetops

When installing a microwave above a cooking stove, one must channel their inner acrobat, balancing caution with precision. Unfortunately, instead of a smooth installation, we got a microwave drop—and crack goes the stove top! It seems butter fingers were at play, making the kitchen more of a circus than a culinary corner.

The vision was to save space, but the execution was more crash than class. As the microwave took a nosedive, it’s clear that gravity and kitchen appliances mix as well as oil and water. Now, there’s a new kitchen feature: a spiderweb pattern adorning the stove, a not-so-removable accessory that’s definitely not on-trend.
