Phone charging cables are notorious for their fragility, often fraying faster than you can say “low battery.” A DIY enthusiast wrapped an old shoelace around it in a quirky attempt to extend the life of one such doomed cable. This inventive, albeit makeshift, solution brings a whole new meaning to “tying the knot.”
While the shoelace might give the illusion of strength and durability, it’s more of a Band-Aid than a fix. Electrical tape might have been a better choice for insulation and support, but instead, we have a cable dressed in lace! This trick might score points for creativity and resourcefulness, but as far as long-term solutions go, it’s a no-go.
