These celebrities have lost weight and are now living healthier lives – and we’re excited!

Josie Gibson, Lost 84 Lbs

We can’t deny how much we admire Josie Gibson’s body transformation after she plummeted from a size 20 to a size 8. Although this change didn’t happen at once, it all started in 2013 when she lost some weight. It didn’t last for long as during her pregnancy, she gained a few pounds again.

Unfortunately, the 36-year-old had to set another weight loss goal after discovering she was at risk of type 2 diabetes. The game-changer for Josie was healthy eating, 45 minutes workout thrice a week, drinking more water, and longer sleep hours.

Peter Kay, Undisclosed

We’re not sure if the British “So You Think You’re Funny?” comedian Peter Kay considers his drastic weight loss bad for his image or good for his health, but one thing that’s for sure is that his weight was part of the reasons he was so noticeable in the past.

Comedians are scrutinized a bit differently from other celebrities regarding their weight. And even though the entertainment industry generally paints weight loss as a good thing, we hope that’s the case for Kay, who canceled his tour due to unforeseen family issues. He briefly returned mainstream in January 2021 to chat with Cat Deeley on BBC Radio 2.

Mark Labbett, Lost 138 Lbs

The popular star of “The Chase,” Mark Labbett, apparently could host a masterclass about weight loss in addition to being a skilled quizzer. He made a complete transformation by losing an incredible 138 pounds. Although he says he achieved this by doing small yet essential things, a big thumbs up has to go to his personal trainer—his golden retriever, Baloo.

Taking care of his dog put him on a routine of doing more physical activity because he regularly walked him around the field. He remained a prominent chaser in 2021 episodes of the “Beat The Chasers” gameshow.

Anne Hegerty, Lost 42 Lbs

Famous as The Governess on the ITV quiz show “The Chase,” Anne Hegerty has gained a lot more confidence with her outstanding 42 pounds weight loss. After spending just three weeks in the Australian camp of “I’m a Celebrity,” 14 pounds instantly vanished, and that was only the beginning.

We believe she could achieve this because of the healthy food she had access to on the show and the constant moving around, which is enough exercise in itself. Hegerty made two appearances in 2021 on the long-running reality TV show “Loose Women.”

James Corden, Lost 23 Lbs

Since late-night talk show host James Corden joined Weight Watchers program earlier this year, he has reportedly lost 23 lbs. James tried so many different diet plans in the past, and after much trial and error, he finally found one that works for him.

In a radio interview, James revealed that he figured out how to make it through a weight loss program successfully, and it’s all about changing his mindset. The TV personality went from “going on a diet” to changing the way he eats every day, and it looks like the transformation has worked wonders for him.

Austin “Chumlee” Russel – Lost 75 Lbs

The Pawn Stars actor, Austin Russell, a.k.a. Chumlee struggled with his weight and was over 300 pounds. He was also diagnosed as a pre-diabetic, so concerned as he was about his health, he decided to live a healthier lifestyle. He went on a healthy diet and regular exercise, and today, Chumlee has lost more than 75 pounds.

It is a bit ironic that he went through all that trouble to lose the weight and adopt a healthier lifestyle, only to get arrested for possession of a heck of a lot of stimulants, as well as firearms. What good is it to quit red meat, if he’s going to use crystal meth and cocaine? He got a deal with the D.A. which includes counseling, and we hope he uses the opportunity to get clean and get his life in order.

Kevin Smith, Lost 50 Lbs

Kevin Smith made his debut with a comedy film titled Clerks, and ever since then, the TV personality has been dedicated to his craft and his loyal fans. Sadly in 2018, Smith suffered a heart attack because he was trying to lose weight and work simultaneously.

Laying aside some of the routines that seemed to take a toll on him, the comedian settled for a rather unlikely way to achieve his weight loss goal. Kevin consumed a vegan and low sugar diet and included Lipitor, which he used to curb bad cholesterol and inflammation.

Gregg Wallace, Lost 56 Lbs

MasterChef host Gregg Wallace had a wake-up call when his doctor said he was on his way to a heart attack. Add the fact that Gregg’s wife, who is 20 years younger, wouldn’t want to have an overweight husband. These gave the presenter enough reason to get into shape.

During the lockdown, the kitchen personality spent his days working out and filling up on healthy meals. Gregg admits he had slip-ups with his diet and exercise, but he isn’t bothered and just chooses to get back on track. After all, losing weight is a complicated process, and giving up is not part of it.

Lorraine Kelly, Lost 28 Lbs

Lorraine Kelly, a TV presenter and journalist, is one of those celebrities who avoid diets, and instead, integrate an active style of living. She started doing sports and kept herself energetic, combining it with eating healthy food. So, Lorraine never starved or struggled with weight loss diets.

As a result, in some time, Lorraine managed to lose 28lbs. She achieved this result by changing her mentality and listening to her own body. After reducing her portions and eliminating harmful foods, the star changed her eating habits, making her weight loss journey even more effective.

Charlotte Hawkins, Lost 42 Lbs

When Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins returned to television after giving birth, people noticed how quickly she had slimmed down. Of course, achieving a woman’s pre-pregnancy size is not an easy task, but it doesn’t seem that way for Hawkins, though. Just four months after welcoming her daughter, the TV anchor already shed off 42 lbs.

Her success was a product of yoga and switching back to a healthy diet. Hawkins admitted she ate many carbs while pregnant but quickly craved nutritious food once her pregnancy ended.

Phillip Schofield, Lost 42 Lbs.

Phillip Schofield is well known amongst fans as the TV presenter of This Morning. Over the years, Schofield struggled with belly fat, which he knew he had to lose after seeing himself looking chubbier than he thought in a family photo.

With his simple diet plan, the actor slimmed down and eventually reduced from over 168 pounds to almost 154 pounds. However, Schofield did not stop there and kept on losing weight out of stress as his appetite got smaller and he could not eat properly. The transformation was noticeable as he lost 42 pounds during the year.
