These Are The Most Venomous Creatures On Earth
Mexican Beaded Lizard
This is the second venomous lizard on this list. Interestingly, together with the Gila monster, these are the only two lizards that produce venom in the world. The Mexican beaded lizard lives in both Mexico and Guatemala. Unlike the Gila monster, it has more discrete colors—possibly due to its feeding habits.
This lizard mostly feeds off of the eggs of other animals. Although its venom is rarely lethal for humans, it can be extremely painful. Smaller mammals will undergo hemorrhage, hypotension, and respiratory failure. Despite this, its venom is a constant source of study as it could aid in treating diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
