This one here might look like something out of an Avatar film but as it turns out, it’s very much true! The Blue Poison Dart Frog might be the least deadly of its species, but touching one might be severely toxic for us humans. Its diet consists of ants, beetles, caterpillars and any other bug it can get.
The blue dart frog, or Tirio, as the natives call them, live in the savanna forests between Brazil and Suriname. Their distinct features have made them into quite the popular pet. Thankfully, due to their different diets when in captivity, they eventually lose their toxicity and can live up to ten years!
