Margo Dydek – Basketball – 7’15” 222 lbs
Margo Dydek was born in Poland and was the tallest WNBA player ever. She held several records, mainly in blocks and in defensive rebounds. Before she retired and moved to coaching the Northside Wizards (from the Queensland Basketball League), she was a star center for the Connecticut Sun. She didn’t do well just thanks to her height, she had plenty of talent as well. She tragically passed away in 2011 after complications from a heart attack. She received the Polish Gold Cross of Merit in 99′.
