Blanka Vlasic – High Jump – 6’23” 163 lbs
Croatian Blanka Vlasic is definitely among the best high jumpers of her generation. She was the winner of the the World Junior Championships in the years 2000 & 2002. She also won the indoors world championship. She managed to win 16 international medals – 12 golds, 3 silvers, & 1 bronze. She was chosen as the best European athlete in both 2007 and 2010 and won silver & bronze at the Olympics. Her father was also her coach for many years.
