Cowabunga! Bovine Beach Day
In a scene straight out of an “udderly” surreal dream, two cows found their spot under the sun—or rather, in the shade—sharing an umbrella with a bewildered woman at the beach. What brings these bovine buddies to the seaside? Perhaps they heard about the soothing properties of sea air or simply decided to moo-ve away from the pasture for a day.
Cows, like many animals, seek shade to escape the heat. According to the United States Forest Service, cows are most comfortable and flourish in temperatures ranging from 41 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Anything higher than this can lead to heat stress.
