Like everyone in the Jackson family, especially her legendary brother Michael, Janet Jackson started her career early. In 1976 she got into the spotlight as a part of the family variety show “The Jacksons.” She moved on to various other shows like “Good Times,” “Diff’rent Strokes,” and “Fame.”
By 1991, when she turned 25, she had released two albums and signed her first record-breaking, multimillion-dollar contract with Virgin Records. This made her one of the highest-paid people in the industry. She also dabbled in action films, starring in “Poetic Justice.” In 2022 she had a documentary called “Janet Jackson.”
