Reese Witherspoon had starred in “Cruel Intentions” and “Pleasantville” by the time she had turned 25. But at that age, she still managed to top both of those films when she starred in the smash hit cultural phenomenon Legally Blonde. She did so well in that film that she starred in the sequel.
But this was just a sign of what was to come from Witherspoon. She put in an Oscar-winning performance in the biographical film “Walk the Line,” former wife of Johnny Cash June Carter Cash. She had another Oscar-winning performance in the movie “Wild” and from 2019 to 2021she starred in the series “The Morning Show.”
