Did you know that, when “Friends” first aired in 1994, Courtenay Cox was the most famous person on the show? In fact, by the time she was 25, she had already had roles in “Down Twisted,” “Masters Of The Universe,” and “Cocoon: The Return.” There were still a few other roles before she gained fame with the iconic sitcom.
Despite her previous fame, “Friends” still proved to be a great stepping stone. She landed roles in “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” and Gail Weathers in the “Scream” franchise. She also had the main role in Cougar Town, and in 2022, she returned as Weathers in another installment of “Scream.”
