Although Denzel Washington had started his career in 1975, he hadn’t made an impact yet by the time he turned 25 in 1979. That year he did have a role in a TV film called “Flesh & Blood,” but things only really took off for him after he landed a role in St. Elsewhere from 1982 to 1988.
This sparked his success, including his Oscar-winning performance in the film “Glory.” He became one of the most recognized actors in Hollywood and also had notable roles in films like “Remember The Titans,” “The Hurricane,” and “Training Day.” In 2021 he played the titular character in a film version of “Macbeth.”
