When Bob Dylan turned 25, it was in the heart of the ’60s. This suited him just fine since it was in the middle of the civil rights and anti-war movement, which his songs and lyrics were all about. He had already made quite the mark with songs like “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The Times They Are a-Changin’.”
He was also making bold moves and came in for criticism for using electric guitars, earning ire from folk purists. He also released three classic rock albums between 1965 and 1966, and in 2021 he did a live streaming concert called “Shadow Kingdom: The Early Songs of Bob Dylan.”
