Returning Coronation Street star Sue Devaney is proof that addiction is something that can be combated with compassion. After fighting her own demons, she’s now determined to help others do the same, beginning with fighting homelessness, especially in Manchester.
Devaney is bound to balance this mission with her busy work schedule. Word on the street is that she signed a contract that would see her appear on the soap until April 2022. This latest stint in the cobbles comes decades after her first appearance in the show in the ‘80s.
