Nana Visitor is the actress behind the role of Kira Nerys in the series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She’s also well-known for portraying Jean Ritter in the series Wildfire. One of her iconic roles was in 2008, as she portrayed the role of a dying cancer patient in the fourth season of Battlestar Galactica. Her voice can also be heard in the sitcom Family Guy. In 2012, she became part of the series Castle, as a canine psychotherapist named Dr. Patty Barker.
