Born into a life far removed from the ordinary, Tippi Degré experienced an upbringing that many could only dream of. Her parents, Sylvie and Alain Degré, chose a path less traveled for their daughter, immersing her in the heart of Africa’s wilderness.

For her first ten years, her playground was Namibia’s expansive savannahs and dense forests, where she formed unlikely friendships with the wild residents. Her companions were composed of various animals, insects, and reptiles. This extraordinary decision by her parents allowed Tippi to interact freely with nature, learning from and living among the animals as one of their own.
