LSU, like many American universities, has a vibrant sports community and is home to 16 Division I athletic teams. Alongside these teams, LSU takes pride in its beautiful cheerleaders. Adding to the school’s spirit, LSU also features a live tiger mascot named Mike VII, who joined the campus on August 15, 2017, as part of the school’s live mascot program.
