One may not imagine the bodies of the ones who passed away treated with zero sentiments. These people have not been to the General Cemetery of Guatemala City then. It is known to be a city with high crime rates, and there are more than ten funerals that take place here in a single day.
It is tough to get a spot because the bodies are stacked up vertically, and the tombs here often happen to be rented out. Just in case someone does not pay the rent, their remains will most likely end up in a mass grave. Unbelievably brutal, isn’t it?
