Canopy Walk – Kakum National Park, Ghana
If you are an adventurous person, who loves to relax on garden swing chairs, the Canopy Walk in Kakum National park is a must-visit place! Opened in 1995 on the occasion of Earth Day, this unique trail leads up to seven other small bridges and hangs above 130 feet ground level in the air!
Made with thick ropes, wooden planks and secured with tight knots, this bridge provides a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the dense African forests. Despite the safety netting, the swaying walkway is not an ideal location for people with acrophobia!
