Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge – Antrim, Northern Ireland

After the Canopy Walk of Ghana, you can sway in the air on Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. For brave souls who cross this elevated platform, get to enjoy a magnificent view of the clear blue ocean and ancient lush green mountains and caverns!
The bridge was built in 1755 by local fishermen to navigate from the mainland to a tiny Irish island to make good use of the salmon season. It is approximately 89 feet above the ground level and 66 feet long. This might appear like a sturdy bridge, but originally, they created it with handrails and slats.
