When a place is known as the ‘Temple of Doom’, you know how terrifying it might be! This is what Cenote Esqueleto is all about – horrifying and scary! It is a vast underwater cave situated in a sinkhole near Tulum, Mexico.
As for the element of this place that brings out fear in people! Firstly, from above, it looks like a skull, and even worse, many divers have lost their lives here. Even though it is an attractive site for divers, the entire passage underneath is dark, dingy, and deadly! Swim at your own risk, people!
