Eastern State Penitentiary – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The Eastern State Penitentiary was a host to inmates for years upon years. This prison situated in Philadelphia opened up in 1829 before being permanently shut down in the year 1971. Before this horrific place was closed, several people had lost their lives here; out of which two guards and countless inmates found murdered on the very premises.
Those that happen to visit this Penitentiary have witnessed chills down their spine because of how scary the place’s vibe is. It is known as one of America’s most haunted areas, and looking at the picture; we feel it does justice to this title!
