Most Terrifying Places on Earth

 Bonaventure Cemetery – Savannah, Georgia

Savannah is among the oldest and most haunted cities in the United States. As per old beliefs, the town is built on Native American crematory grounds, which, apparently, is the sole reason for Savannah’s cinematic tragedies!

Spread over 160 acres, Bonaventure Cemetery became famous after it featured in John Berendt’s novel – ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.’ Its cover page also highlighted the world-famous sculpture of the six-year-old girl Gracie Watson who lost her precious life to pneumonia. Fun fact – the sad-looking statue indeed cries real-tears!
